Was preparing for the worse. However decanted for 2 hours. Small nose with hints of smoke and leather. Nice color with no signs of age on the rim. Medium body with dark cherry, cassis. Very fine tannins. Nice finish. I was not disappointed as it drank very well. However probably will not improve any further with age.

Too sweet for me. Fruit and tannins were well balanced. Meh

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
