Deep, rich and succulent but with a refined balance, this offers deep aromas of boysenberry, black cherry, cassis, crushed rocks and pencil lead. The strong flavors follow suit, with superb balance and just enough acidity to keep this a food wine. Just superb through and through.

Nice aroma of some raspberry and some darker fruits, earth and a touch manure. medium acidity, tannins firm but not intrusive. Alcohol just sticking out a little bit on the finish. Nice Spanish wine.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
