Elegantly styled, with pretty jasmine hints in the nose followed by lush black fruits and toasty oak on the palate. Huge strides have been made in quality improvement over the last 5 years at this winery. Made by Doug Fletcher.

great right from the open. fruit forward but balanced with oaky tannins and under notes of leather and dark chocolate. ready to drink now, but still completely firm- so the next few years look fine too.

Remarkable. What you would expect from a premeir Napa Cab. Well balanced taste after sitting in the glass for 5 or so mins.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
