Low US Retail is updated twice a month and excludes outlier listings. Detailed listings are sourced daily from our partner, Global Wine Stocks, and may include outliers. Note that you can use the 'Report a problem' link which appears after clicking on any individual listing to notify our content team and partner of incorrect wine matches.
Auction prices are based on actual auction results (inclusive of buyerÂ’s premiums) of 750ml bottle sizes only. As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

Med. ruby with brick edge; moderately intense nose of black fruit, leather, and spice; opening up nicely and tannins softening and integrating with cont'd development in bottle (and decanted an hour before); good intensity of fruit and well structured; med.-long finish; a very good, if not great, Bordeaux - may improve further with more bottle age

Deep ruby red, subdued nose of berries and cherries, smooth mouthfeel, slightly medicinal, soft tannins with a reasonable finish, not what I expected based on Parker's enthusiastic review.

Dark ruby color. Good dark fruit on the nose with secondary aromas of leather, spice and vanilla. Nicely aromatic. Full and rich on the palate with strong acidity that lingers on the finish. Well structured; could use some more cellaring. Acidity would make this a good food wine.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
