Low US Retail is updated twice a month and excludes outlier listings. Detailed listings are sourced daily from our partner, Global Wine Stocks, and may include outliers. Note that you can use the 'Report a problem' link which appears after clicking on any individual listing to notify our content team and partner of incorrect wine matches.
Auction prices are based on actual auction results (inclusive of buyer’s premiums) of 750ml bottle sizes only. As auction prices fluctuate from auction to auction and some wines have limited auction activity, the average auction price is updated twice a month and derived from a proprietary algorithm.

Incredible wine. Dark ruby with aromas of roses and strawberries. Ultra-smooth with beautiful tannins and deep red fruit flavor with undertones of tobacco and leather, but with a light mouth-feel. Best wine we've tasted in a while. Absolutely essential to decant this several hours beforehand as it improves dramatically when out of the bottle.

Beautiful deep  ruby.  initial nose of bright cherries and spice, with obvious tannins and alcohol.  over the next 3 hours, classic goudron on the nose emerges.  still very tannic, but with a long long finish.  obviously a very very well made wine, but not yielding nearly as much as it will in 10-15 yrs. ****/***** but tough to completely judge

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
