The Uvaguilera project was started by a group of investors about 9 years ago in the acclaimed Ribera del Duero region. The wines are made by Isaac Fernandez Montana, a member of the winemaking team at Mauro. Core of dark berry, black cherry and blueberry fruit. Notes of mesquite, leather and burnt oak. Finely grained tannins. Decent length to the finish. This needs time to open up.
