Producer Notes

This wine is outstanding. Had many bottles when it was younger, and this is the oldest Australian shiraz I've ever had. Wish I had more... Dark color and dark fruits with mild tannins. Not as thick as I recall but probably related to its age. I suspect this will keep several more years but why wait.

Deep, dark color without much sign of its decade + age. Beautifully structured wine. Not sure I would have picked the blend very well but the combination of ripe shiraz fruits (still going strong) and cabernet backbone made it wonderful. Fun wine

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
