Classic aged cali cab....what a steal. Beautiful leather, dried cherries and tobacco. Still a little tannin that provides structure to an otherwise edge-free wine. Loved it.

Subtle, elegant, a little thin on the finish - Pretty, playful, however, slightly over peak. Not clear that peak was ever exceptional.

Consist with other's notes though I thought a little thin on the finish. In a nice place, drink now. Not bad for 15 bucks off WineBid.

This quiet, unassuming winery has been making some pretty good wine for nearly thirty years. Leaving mere words to others, owner Tom Burgess lets his wine do the talking. If that's the case, then the '94 and '95 Cabernets would be hard pressed to keep quiet. The '94 has straight-forward aromas of ripe cassis with hints of blackberry. The flavors show ripe fruit with a nice long finish. The '95 is typical of this mountain winery, with some spicy fruit aromas that match well with the lush fruit. Both can be enjoyed now, but if the winery's track record is any indication, talk to them later.
