Ruby colored with a nose of spice and dark cherry. After two hours of air this opened up into a medium bodied well balanced wine in the Bordeaux style.

What a fantastic old-world style Bordeaux. Cooked berries, tobacco and pencil lead predominate. Medium-bodied, but still fills your entire palate. Has a long and glorious finish that makes your mouth water for more.

Quite dull at first but opened up nicely after an hour. Very simplistic and nothing to get excited about. Pleasurable but glad I don't have anymore. Drink now.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
