This Bordeaux chateau is a Second Growth property located in the Left Bank commune of Margaux. The estate was purchased by Pierre des Mesures de Rauzan in 1661, but the land had been divided in two by the time of the 1855 Medoc classification. powerful tannins on the open. after aeration, full flavors of toasty leather, coffee with some earthiness. nice nose and a long finsih. still needs time to breathe so do not rush it.

Fine red color. Red currant fruit with a hint of cellar. Medium body. Still some fruit, but somewhat acidic in the mounth. Fine sweet aftertaste, Drink soon.
