This is drinking beautifully. Ripe dark berry, blueberry and dark pit fruit. Slight chalkiness adds complexity. Round, ripe tannins give a full, supple mouthfeel. Very well balanced cab. Long, lingering, flavorful finish.

Vinfolio purchase. Superb, $100 bargain for perfectly mature Napa Cab. Amazingly fragrant, black fruit, truffle, earth and all wonderfully integrated. Do not aerate, it has a nice window but might move too fast in a decanter. Beautiful, medium-bodied, very long. Great paired with a roast quail at L'Etalier de Robuchon. This is the Howell Mountain Cab. Fantastic.

This wine was very pleasing with elegant red fruit flavors and multiple layers. I was sad to finish the bottle.

A flawed bottle may be affected by cork taint, heat (maderized), oxidation, or excessive sulfur. Additionally, some people consider wines tainted by Brettanomyces (Brett), a non-spore forming genus of yeast, a flaw although there is much controversy surrounding the subject.
