Vinous | Rating: 91The 2014 Collina Dalla Valle is a relatively soft, open knit wine. There is lovely purity to the dark red cherry fruit, spice and mocha flavors. All the signatures of the estate are present, but in a relatively small-scaled style. I would prefer to drink the 2014 sooner rather than later given its mid-weight structure. The 2014 is two-thirds Cabernet Franc and one-third Cabernet Sauvignon, with a dollop of Petit Verdot.Author: Antonio Galloni
