International Wine Cellar | Rating: 94Pale, green-tinged yellow. Subdued but pure aromas of green apple, mint and spices. Ultimately suppler than the Valmur but less expressive today. Highly concentrated flavors of green apple and mint are vibrant but youthfully tight. Seems a bit lower in acidity than the Valmur, but then this is a south-facing site. Most impressive on the very long, lively back end.Author: Stephen TanzerIssue: July/August 2014
Wine Advocate | Rating: 94The 2013 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros Cote Bouguerots has a very refined, intense bouquet with cold wet stone, green apples, moorland stream aromas that are nicely defined. The palate is fresh and crisp on the entry, tensile and steely in the mouth with a keen line of citric acidity, a gentle crescendo here to a lovely apricot-tinged finish. This is a level up from the regular Bougros this year. Very fine.Author: Neal Martin
The Fevre family has been an integral part of the Chablis landscape for upwards of 250 years. Since the beginning, though, they have been adamant about protecting and promoting the typicity of Chablis, whose whites draw a unique and well-defined line in the sand when it comes to mineral-laden French Chardonnay. The grand crus from this estate represent the pinnacle of purity and intensity of world-class Chardonnay from France and are characterized by superb delineations of acidity, mineral, crystalline fruit and delicate floral nuance.
