Wine Spectator | Rating: 93Candied lemon, honey, floral, spice and mineral notes are embedded in the svelte structure of this white. Turns leaner and more austere on the finish, yet the spice and stone elements linger. Gains richness with air. Best from 2017 through 2024. 70 cases imported.Drink Dates: 2017-2024Author: Bruce Sanderson
Wine Advocate | Rating: 91The 2013 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Abbaye de Morgeot was showing some reduction on the nose when I tasted the sample from barrel. The palate is nicely balanced with fresh dewy green apple, a touch of quince and spice lining the finish. It then flows toward a crisp and focused orange rind finish. Nothing extraordinary here, just a well-crafted Chassagne-Montrachet to enjoy over the next 15-20 years.Author: Robert Parker
