Wine Advocate | Rating: 96More sweet, decadent and voluptuous, the 2012 Syrah Noir knocks it out of the park with its full-bodied richness, big concentration and deep, layered aromas of smoked meats, plum, licorice and wild flowers. There's enough depth and richness here to keep this evolving gracefully for 15 years or more, but it's no slouch now either.Author: Jeb Dunnuck
Rating: 95The 2012 Syrah Noir, from a parcel within Colson Canyon, bursts from the glass with gorgeous aromatics, rich, layered fruit and exceptional overall balance. The 2012 is resonant, dark and voluptuous from the very first taste. Cloves, lavender, spices and black fruit inform a seamless finish built on pure fruit. This is another drop-dead gorgeous Syrah from Joey Tensley. - Antonio Galloni
