50% Malbec, 50% Merlot 18 months in new French oak barrels 14.5% alcohol This magnificent blend displays a purple red color as well as intensity. Malbec adds the typical notes of violet and plums, while the Merlot grants its characteristics spiced and menthol aromas. In the mouth it is a mature, full bodied and well structured wine. This magnificent blend has a fresh and aromatic nose dominated by red fruits like cherries and berries along with flowers like violets, typical from Uco Valley. A medium bodied wine, marked with acidity, but a velvety and round mouthfeel. It has a long fruity finish with gentle toasty notes. The grapes were hand-picked and individually selected from vines planted on our estate vineyard, where ideal growing conditions of long hot days and cool nights allow the grapes to rippen to perfection on the vine. The wine then matured for 18 months in fine new French oak barrels.Author: Weatherford Victoria
