  • Wine Spectator | Rating: 90

Fresh, vibrant and open-textured, with black cherry flavors that show hints of smoke and pepper, with a fleshy feel to the light finish.
    Author: Harvey Steiman
  • International Wine Cellar | Rating: 91

Light, bright violet. Pungent aromas of cherry pit, dark berries and fresh flowers, with a vanilla nuance in the background. Lively and sharply focused on the palate, offering gently sweet, nicely concentrated black raspberry, cherry and anise flavors and a hint of candied rose. Closes with very good energy and lift, with silky tannins adding shape. This suave, fruit-driven pinot drinks very nicely after an hour or so of air.

  • Recognized as one of the top producers in the Pacific Northwest, St. Innocent focuses primarily on vineyard-designated Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc rounding out the portfolio. The winery was founded in 1988 by winemaker and president Mark Vlossak with the intent of producing terroir-specific bottlings that "complement and extend the pleasure of a meal." 2007 marked the first vintage for St, Innocent in a new gravity-flow winery, and just a year prior the first vineyard land was purchased, a portion of the Zenith Vineyard in Eola-Amity Hills. Total production is 6,800 cases.
