Supple-textured, with ripe plum, raspberry and black cherry notes, featuring touches of anise and loamy earth. Turns dry and tannic on the finish.

The spicy 2011 Pinot Noir Zio Tony Ranch reveals notions of clove and cinnamon as well as background oak, and broad, rich, savory flavors. Along with the Biondi Home Ranch, it is one of the most concentrated 2011s. However, none of the 2011s possess the density of the 2010s or 2012s. The fully mature Zio Tony should be consumed over the next 1-2 years.
