(48% new oak): Vivid ruby. High-pitched, mineral-accented aromas of red fruits and fresh flowers, with deeper vanilla and mocha elements building with air. Offers an array of sappy red and dark berry flavors touched by exotic Indian spices. Silky and seamless, with strong finishing cut, easy-going tannins and impressive persistence. This is all Calera clone according to Finley.

  • The Fritz family founded Lynmar Winery in 1990 to produce world-class wines reflecting the character of the estate Quail Hill Vineyard and the Russian River Valley appellation. Quail Hill is a unique site in the region and is the exclusive source for the Reserve and Estate wines, as well as the foundation for the appellation-designated wines. The vineyard possesses superb qualities for growing world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The combination of the vineyard's soil composition, long growing season, dramatic elevation changes, and clone and rootstock selections make it a prime location for growing these varieties.

The character of the estate vineyard guides the signature Lynmar style for all of the wines; red wines with rich, full, deep, ripe berry flavors with natural acids and soft tannins, and white wines with balance, composition, and expressiveness.
