Red-ruby. Musky blackberry and a hint of dried plum on the nose. Plump in the middle, offering herb and spice nuances to the black fruit and plum flavors. A tad green on the finish, with dusty tannins drying the teeth. Not my favorite style of cabernet.

The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon 7 is another massive wine bursting with class and personality. Mint, flowers, leather and licorice are just some of the notes that flow from this hulking, intense wine. This is shaping up to be a slow-maturing vintage here.
