An agreeably fresh and admirably pure nose of cherry, raspberry and spice aromas introduce vibrant and solidly well-concentrated flavors that display a lush, even seductive mouth feel. There is really lovely complexity to the rising, balanced and persistent finish that leaves you wanting another sip. Worth your consideration.Author: Allen MeadowsInternational Wine Cellar | Rating: 94
Deep red. Ripe raspberry and cherry on the intensely perfumed nose. Lush and expansive on the palate, offering densely packed yet lively red fruit compote and floral flavors that become brighter and spicier with air. The spicy quality carries through a very long, clinging finish, which shows a seamless, sappy character. Quite elegant but highly concentrated as well; I'd bet on this pinot rewarding at least a decade of cellaring.Author: Josh RaynoldsIssue: November/December 2012Wine Advocate | Rating: 93
The 2010 Pinot Noir Rincon Vineyard floats onto the palate. Sweet dried cherries, flowers, mint and savory herbs are some of the many nuances that take shape in the glass. The use of 30% whole clusters gives the wine an attractive sense of lift and polish. Sweet, perfumed and impeccably balanced, the Rincon impresses for its overall harmony and finesse. In 2010, the Rincon is delicate and harmonious from the very first taste. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020.Author: Antonio GalloniWine Spectator | Rating: 93
The most complete and harmonious of the 2010 Talleys, this is a rich, full-bodied and smooth-textured mix of spicy raspberry, wild berry and blueberry, gaining depth and maintaining persistence.Author: James Laube
