2010 Ridge Zinfandel Dusi Ranch
UNITED STATES / CALIFORNIA / SAN LUIS OBISPO
Wine Advocate | Rating: 89
The 2010 Zinfandel Paso Robles Benito Dusi Ranch wraps around the palate with soft, lush fruit. This is distinctly Paso in its opulent, generous personality. Dark red cherries, flowers and spices flesh out on the finish. The Benito Dusi is delicious, but it stops just shy of being truly distinctive. On the plus side, it is more approachable than some of the other 2010s and should drink well upon release.Author: Antonio Galloni

The aroma of this vibrant, plum colored wine is brooding - heavy with blackberry liqueur and notes of rosemary. The palate, however, is explosive with intense, dark fruit - black cherry, blackberry, and black currant - with mid-palate tannins and what feels like a hint of residual sugar. There is a lively acidity and a velvety mouthfeel - overall a very pleasing, old-vine Zinfandel.Author: Kottabos
