(a blend of seven parcels, stretching from the north to the south end of the village): Good bright red-ruby. Musky blackberry, licorice, bitter chocolate and stony minerality on the nose. Dense, pliant and seamless, with a thickness to the dark berry flavors that's leavened by well-integrated acidity and a spicy component. Still rather tight and primary. This should age nicely.

A languid red, with cherry, raspberry and currant flavors that float across the palate on a silky texture. Spice and earth notes add depth to this harmonious and long version.
