2010 Domaine Boyer-Martenot Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru
FRANCE / BURGUNDY / MEURSAULT
International Wine Cellar | Rating: 92
Bright yellow. Liqueur-like ripeness to the aromas of mirabelle and stone fruits. Lush and sweet in the mouth, but with good energy to the creamy pineapple, pear and spice flavors. More harmonious today than the Genevrieres. This smooth, glyceral fruit bomb boasts a long, rising finish. Both this wine and the Charmes have volatile acidity levels between 0.5 and 0.6, says Boyer, which is higher than usual at this address. I'd enjoy this wine over the next six to eight years.Author: Stephen TanzerIssue: September/October 2012
