Dark in aroma and fleshy in feel, but open-knit overall, with enticing tobacco, fig and mulled black currant fruit carried by a loam hint through the broad finish. Drink now through 2017. 1,500 cases made.

Opaque, dark ruby- violet. AÿThe nose is dence with ripe, dark fruit aromas, spice, toast, chocolate and oak. AÿMassive amounts of glycerol coat on the side of the glass as the wine struggles to make its way down its side. AÿOn the palate the wine is super smooth, rich, vibrant displaying massive almost new world fruit intensity that is followed by restrained, ripe and quickly dissolving tannin. AÿAll of this wraped up in wonderfull acidity tieing everything together to produce a true pleasure of a wine that can be enjoyed now or over the next 10 years or so. AÿExcellent

Located in the southwest of France, Bordeaux is the single largest fine-wine-producing region in the world, with more than 15,000 growers spread over 57 appellations and more than 700 million bottles produced annually. The region boasts a two-thousand-year winemaking history and some of the wine world's most recognized and highly sought-after names. Red Bordeaux blends comprise eighty percent of production, but dry and sweet whites are also well-known. The region is divided into the Left and Right Banks (of the Dordogne River); Cabernet Sauvignon prevails in the former and Merlot in the latter.
