The aromas started off beautiful and strong. Violet, blueberry, and dark cherry. This blend was medium weight, not overpowering, and more on the elegant side. Notes included cinnamon, forest floor, blueberry, and mocha. Could use a bit more structure but overall pleasing.

Very good. Lighter mouthfeel than the Hunnicutt, which was offered at the same time. Great bright fruit flavors with a savory back end. Happy with how this one is aging too.

With vineyards located in Oakville and Yountville, this family-owned and operated winery has piqued the interest of many a Cab lover with both its "Estate" bottling and the "Two Rivers Vineyard." The winery's name pays respect to two Arabian performance horses - Tamborina and Bayamo - that the owners (the Waittes) owned and raced. The wines are made by Thomas Brown, who has previous experience with Turley Wine Cellars, Outpost, Schrader, and Chiarello wines. His bottlings of Cabernet, Merlot, and Chardonnay emphasize the vineyards' cool climate and have a finessed power that provides a compelling experience.
