Wine Spectator | Rating: 93An opulent, powerful red, permeated with cherry, strawberry and mineral flavors, all supported by dense tannins. It's the tannins that leave an impression on the finish, but not in a drying sense. An element of sweet fruit remains. Monolithic now. Best from 2016 through 2035. 80 cases imported.Author: Bruce Sanderson
International Wine Cellar | Rating: 94Medium red. Reticent but pure nose hints at raspberry, minerals, gingerbread and forest floor. Powerfully structured and classically dry, with terrific depth to its savory blueberry, mineral and menthol flavors. This complex expression of terroir finishes with a distinctly salty impression of extract, and the structure and force for a long evolution in bottle.Author: Stephen TanzerIssue: March/April 2012
