Focused, juicy, balanced and vibrant, with blackberry, currant, savory spice and herb overtones. This has presence, harmony and length. The sandy tannins can soften in the cellar.

Intense aromas of licorice and dark berries with hints of tar. Graphite too. Full bodied, with a beautiful core of fruit. Ultra-fine tannins. All there. This is breathtaking with laser guided focus. So long and balanced. Wonderful.

Very deep purple-black in color, the 2009 Georgia's Paddock Shiraz gives expressive gamey / savory notes, revealing aromas of peppered pigeon breast, coffee beans, smoky bacon, black truffles and black olives over creme de cassis and loam. Medium-full bodied, it is tautly structured with high acid and firm, chewy tannins, possessing muscular flesh and a long earthy finish. Give it another 2 years in bottle and drink it from 2013 to 2023+.

Vivid ruby. An intensely perfumed bouquet evokes cherry-cola, cassis, dark chocolate and black tea. Firm, structured and linear, with deeply concentrated dark berry flavors and notes of bitter chocolate and licorice. Dusty tannins add shape and grip to the very long, spicy finish. This wine will age well but I suspect that its evolution will be slow, so patience will be required.
