(made from yields of under two tons per acre, according to Dehlinger): Vivid red. Heady, intensely perfumed scents of candied red and dark berries, Asian spices and potpourri, with a smoky accent building with air. Juicy, focused and alluringly sweet, offering intense black raspberry and cherry compote flavors and a silky texture. Shows an intriguing blend of richness and vivacity and finishes with excellent focus and length. This wine saw 40% new oak and it's working in great harmony with the fruit.

The 2009 Pinot Noir Goldridge Vineyard is a juicy, forward wine loaded with expressive dark red fruit, sweet floral notes, licorice and French oak. This plump Pinot Noir is best enjoyed over the next few years, while the fruit retains its juiciness.
