Excellent and drinkable.Author: Chez Fisher
The Shea Vineyard, established in 1996 by Dick and Deirdre Shea, encompasses over 30 distinct blocks of primarily Pinot Noir with limited planting of Chardonnay. Ninety percent of the fruit is sold to producers in California and Oregon, but a small amount is kept to produce about 2400 total cases under the Shea label. Shea Vineyard is recognized as one of the top sites in America for Pinot Noir, and Shea's own bottling receive consistently high scores. Additionally, their sustainable stewardship of the vineyard has been recognized at the highest level over the last three years.
