Self | Rating: 93A brilliant Sauvignon Blanc. Mineral, almost creamy in a way, long finish and time to drink now.Author: Daddy
Founded by John and Robin Lail and made by Philippe Melka, the Lail winery has for years specialized in producing the John Daniel Cuvee. This wine is sourced from Robin's vineyard, named for her father, who was the general manager of Inglenook in the 1940s, and was the great nephew of Gustave Niebaum, Inglenook's 19th century founder. A recent addition to the lineup has been a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Sauvignon Blanc under the Blueprint label, recognizing John's architecture business.
