As for those in bottle, my favorite is the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa. Most of this comes from the Sacrashe Vineyard as well. A dense, full-bodied wine with lots of creme de cassis, charcoal, licorice and forest floor, the wine is opulent and already delicious and powerful. It should continue to drink well for at least 12-15+ years.

Medium ruby-red. Pungent blueberry, cassis, mineral and licorice aromas show an almost liqueur-like sweetness. Then suave and fine-grained in the mouth, with concentrated, smooth dark berry and licorice flavors. The strong, building finish features intense, bright dark fruits and sweet chewy tannins.

Rich, with loamy earth, currant, black licorice and subtle cedar touches that build depth and complexity.
At Tisa and Gunthers we drank the Hall 08 Cab and the Justin Justification 09 among others. The Hall was very round, great fruit flavors and soft. An excellent drink!! The Justification was also nice, slightly lighter in body, good color and fruit flavors. The Cab Franc base was good but after the Hall it seemed a little thin. If I were to do this again I would have had the Justin first then the Hall. Both are great.

Boo-yah! Huge and concentrated. Color is ruby, deep and intense. Aroma is cassis, ripe dark fruit. Great nose. On the palate this is rich, ripe, creme de cassis and anise. Body is medium +. If you like big cabs (and I do) you must buy this for just over $40 and feel like your drinking a $100 bottle. RP put a 95 on this and I agree.

WOW. This over performed for the price. There must be good quantities of mountain fruit in this bottle. The bouquet alone with knock you out. Glad I have a few more of these. Complex, integrated tannins, and fruit that keeps on going. Don't forget a substantial finish with caramel, cedar, blackberry compote. Delicious.
