Exhibits a rich mix of loamy earth, dried berry, spice, cedar, cherry rhubarb and red and black licorice flavors. Full-bodied, intense and concentrated, with a touch more finesse than the Finn bottling.

The medium ruby-hued 2008 Pinot Noir Ryan is fashioned from Dijon clones and the California clone called 'The Martini Selection.ƒ?_ A crisp, elegant, fresh Pinot, it offers notes of rhubarb, candied cherries, pomegranate, sassafras and hints of herbs and spice, but not the size of the Aidan.

Vivid red. Captivating nose combines strawberry preserves, licorice pastille, incense and an exotic Moroccan spice character. Then sweet, silky and voluptuous on the palate, with densely packed red berry, spicecake and floral flavors. Finishes long and supple, with echoing spiciness and excellent energy.

At Cotogna - really nice balance of bright but not excessive fruit with good structure and complexity - at peak? - smooth

Drank with Darby, Tim, and Kristine Jaeger. Wonderful wine. Opened for about 15 minutes before drinking but while consumed opened up beautifully. Layered notes of graphite and dark fruit. Long finish. A very solid effort from DuMol.
