($42) Light, vivid red. Energetic aromas of black raspberry, rose petal and spicecake. Supple, silky and restrained, with a sneaky sweetness to its red and dark berry flavors. Spreads out on the back half and shows deeper blackberry and cherry character, with very soft tannins on the close. I really like this wine's blend of potency and elegance.

A softly perfumed nose exhibits pure, intense and beautifully layered red berry fruit and cherry liqueur notes that elegantly introduce the rich, round and utterly delicious middle weight flavors that possess a silky texture and excellent balance on the sappy and lingering finish. This is really a lovely effort that is a bit more forward than its two stable mates but like them is an exercise in harmony.
