The intense aromatics and flavors of the 2007 Antithesis Chardonnay may be even better than the 2006. Sadly, there are only 200 cases of this beauty, which spends time in old wood. No doubt the 2007 vintage's incredibly low yields have added a layer of concentration that does not exist in either 2006 or 2005.
An interesting full bodied Chardonnay with vibrant fruit & aromatics as well as soft and sweet buttery and toffee notes. It has a bright golden color with aromatics of tree & stone fruits mixed with mineral and honey notes. The palate is powerful with similar bright fruit notes along with soft toffee and butterscotch, finishing with a hint of toasty oak and more stone fruit.

Luminous gold in color, with relatively potent aromatics of succulent peach and butterscotch, this Paso Robles Chardonnay's real surprise comes in the mouth feel; it feels almost viscous - rather like Roussanne - with a marked minerality along with flavors of stone fruit and meyer lemon. Soft but with just the perfect compliment of acidity, this is a food friendly wine to pair with a variety of dishes, be it lemon chicken, ravioli in white sauce, shellfish, etc.
