($40) Bright red. High-pitched aromas of raspberry, cherry and spicecake, plus a hint of darker plum. Plush red and dark berry flavors display good depth and become spicier with air, picking up a sexy floral quality on the back half. Rich and fleshy pinot with good finishing cling and an echo of candied cherry.

A ripe but fresh and attractive nose of enveloping spicy and discreetly earthy red raspberry fruit aromas give way to delicious, round and seductive middle weight flavors that possess just enough tannic spine to impart a dusty mouth feel and good energy on the ever so slightly youthfully austere but nicely persistent finish. There is not a lot of complexity present, at least not yet but this is already easy to like.

Shows an earthy herbal side to dried berry and black cherry fruit. Medium- to full-bodied and complex, yet for now this leaves you hoping for a little more depth.

The 2007 Pinot Noir Keefer Ranch reveals a similar medium ruby color as well as notes of cinnamon, allspice, and sweet cherries, medium body, and a soft, round style.

14.1% alcohol Aromas: dense licorice, cherry and mineral Palate: very pretty entry - cherry and strawberry with solid acid profile Impression: Siduri consistently makes one of my favorite bottling from this source

With an impressive portfolio of some of the best Pinot Noir vineyards in California, Adam and Dianna Lee have created quite a sensation. The Lees source from 27 different vineyards, and work closely with their growers to ensure the conditions in the vineyard lay a strong foundation for the resulting wines. Vineyards of note include Cargasacchi, Clos Pepe, Pisoni, and the famed Garys' and Rosella's. From these vineyards, individual blocks and clones are vinified separately to give more flexibility at blending time. All the Pinots are bottled unfined and unfiltered.
