($68-$80) Medium red. Floral aromas of redcurrant, cherry and raspberry. Juicy and fresh, with some oak spice showing in the mouth. With its moderate flesh, this lively wine comes off as slightly tart on the end.Author: Stephen TanzerIssue: March/April 2010Burghound | Rating: 90
A similar if slightly more elegant nose leads to textured, velvety and round middle weight flavors that retain a lovely sense of detail as well as a subtle touch of minerality on the fresh, balanced and long finish. This is a quality villages that is very much worth a look.Author: Allen MeadowsIssue: 1st Quarter, 2009Wine Advocate | Rating: 89
Lightly-cooked yet tart-edged blackberry and red currant; smoky black tea; game, moss, decadent woods, and underbrush scent the Mugneret 2007 Vosne Romanee and follow on a palate of infectious juiciness, leaving a dark berry stain and a wealth of herbal and mineral nuances ' if also a slight catch of tannin ' in its wake. This surprised me both for its depth and the bright edge to its fruit, and if followed for 4-6 years it might well gain some harmony while preserving nuance. Marie-Andree Mugneret points out that the trie de table had to be especially severe for this appellation.Author: David SchildknechtJancis Robinson | Rating: 17
Sleek, dense, lively and smooth. This is successful! A really complex, complete village wine...Author: Jancis Robinson
