2007 Domaine Maume Gevrey-Chambertin En Pallud

Fresh, sweet and slightly more like a liqueur than a wine. Lots of flesh and charm even if not the most savoury.

This is extremely ripe, indeed the red, blue and black fruit aromas sidle right up to the edge of being surmature yet somehow the flavors remain fresh and vibrant with good detail and a finishing flourish of minerality on the persistent finale that evidences much less rusticity than normal.
