Burghound | Rating: 89Reduction and plenty of sulfur make the nose impossible to fairly judge though the round, supple and forward flavors display no sulfur-induced dryness as there is good intensity and vibrancy that carries over to the delicious, long and sappy finish. This should clean up with a bit of pre-bottling aeration.Author: Allen MeadowsIssue: 3rd Quarter, 2009
Self | Rating: 94Clear, Light yellow in hue with watery rim. Clean intense aromas of orange blossom, green apple and crushed rock with hints of vanilla. Dry, palate of pear, orange pith and buttered bread. A surprisingly beautiful and well integrated village level Chassagne-Montrachet. a lovely mix of primary fruit and mineral with slight hints of oak/MLF all very well married together.
