2007 Keever Cabernet Sauvignon Yountville
UNITED STATES / CALIFORNIA / NAPA
International Wine Cellar | Rating: 89
($90) Deep medium ruby. Cool mineral and licorice notes lift the aromas of black fruits and dark chocolate. Juicy, spicy and pliant on entry, then a bit tougher in the mid-palate, with moderately ripe flavors of dark berries and mint along with a suggestion of adhesive tape. This seems less rich and complex than a sample I tried from bottle a year ago, as well as a bit dry on the back. Perhaps passing through a stunted stage of its development.Author: Stephen TanzerIssue: May/June 2010Wine Spectator | Rating: 92
Intense yet elegant and stylish, this is a wine of subtlety and finesse, with a layered mix of cedary currant, spice and anise flavors that unfold gracefully, with a pleasing, lingering aftertaste.Drink Dates: 2010-2018Author: James LaubeWine Advocate | Rating: 91
The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon (650 cases; 100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is more supple, open-knit and flamboyant, revealing notes of espresso roast, chocolate, sweet red and black currants and loamy soil. This beautifully textured, opulent, showy Cabernet should drink well for 10-15 years.Drink Dates: 2010-2025Author: Robert Parker

$90, 93 RP. Nice dark fruit on nose, nice power but not overbearing. Pretty intense on palate, nice fruit, medium to high tannin level that will calm with a bit of aging.Author: WineRyan
