At once powerful and plump, conveying a savory umami-like impression. Finishes with a firm edge that suggests a year or two of patience will bring a more harmonious wine.

Supple, silky and tightly focused, offering a sleek mouthful of juicy plum, blackberry and licorice flavors, picking up mineral notes of wet slate and crushed brick as the finish sails on and on. This is almost delicate in its deft balance, but has great intensity.
