($136-$157; two-thirds vendange entier Palish red. Raspberry, smoke and minerals on the nose. Fine-grained and vibrant, with captivating floral lift to the sweet raspberry and mineral flavors. This very juicy grand cru has power and energy. Finishes with broad, dusty tannins and excellent peppery length.Author: Stephen TanzerIssue: March/April 2009Jancis Robinson | Rating: 16
A bit volatile. Then very sweet and tough and really rather hard work. Some mellowness.Drink Dates: 2013-2017Author: Jancis RobinsonBurghound | Rating: 92
A slightly riper and definitely more sauvage nose of mostly red berry fruit aromas nuanced by hints of earth, wood spice and a smoked game quality lead to very fresh, big and well-muscled flavors that possess excellent volume on the complex, long and impressively long finish. The structural elements have just a bit more ripeness to them and the depth here is certainly admirable. For the patient.Drink Dates: 2016+Author: Allen MeadowsIssue: 2nd Quarter, 2008
