A rich red, featuring tart cherry, wild herb, tar and earth aromas and flavors. Vivid acidity and a phalanx of firm tannins provide support as this glides to a lingering aftertaste of cherry, licorice and mineral.

Moderately saturated medium red. Rather shallow aromas of cherry, redcurrant and spices. A juicy, fruit-driven midweight with an edge of acidity accented by some unabsorbed CO2. Decent intensity to the red berry and licorice flavors. Not bad but a bit one-dimensional, finishing with drying tannins and an emerging leathery element.
