($72) Deep, bright red. Spicy aromas of redcurrant and cherry are underscored by smoky minerals. Broad but focused, offering sweet red fruit flavors, supple texture and fully absorbed tannins. A floral note arrives with air and carries through the very long, gently sweet finish. These vines are just seven or eight years old, according to winemaker Smith.
