  • International Wine Cellar | Rating: 92

($50; a 95/5 blend of cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot) Bright ruby-red. Cassis, lack cherry and violet on the nose, complicated by a dusty, minty element. Pliant black fruit flavors shows lovely cut and intensity, with fresh acidity and a floral element contributing definition and lift. Finishes with firm, fine-grained tannins that reach the front teeth. This began with moderate complexity, but blossomed with aeration. Ultimately a chewy and concentrated wine with impressive size and breadth.
