($40) Bright red. Deeper than the Sonoma Coast on the nose, displaying black raspberry and cherry scents, along with anise and pungent herbs. Rich red and dark berry flavors coat the palate and are framed by supple tannins. The cherry and herb notes repeat on the long, juicy finish.

Sleek and balanced, with spice, mineral, pebble and black cherry fruit that's subtle yet intense, with delicate spice notes that gain depth and complexity.
Opened and decanted for thirty minutes. Initial nose of deep toasty cherry and raspberry. There is a lot of bright fruit dancing in the glass. Starts off with tart cherry on the front but immediately rounds out with more of the raspberry flavors showing. Some vanilla on the finish. There are some green flavors as well. Two hours in and some spice flavors develop to compliment the fruit. This wine is not overcomplicated, just nice, and thats all it needs to be. Clean, bright, inviting.
