($60; 80% tempranillo and 10% each of cabernet sauvignon and merlot) Saturated red color. Deep blackberry, cherry preserves and smoked meat on the nose, with suave baking spices and minerals adding interest. Lively red fruits on the palate, with sweet darker berry qualities emerging with air. This unfurled nicely in the glass, taking on exotic spices and a suave floral note. Finishes sweet, precise and impressively long. (Eric Solomon Selections, Charlotte, NC)
Darker and slightly opaque in color with medium legs and a jammy, overly fruity aroma of strawberry, raspberry and raisin. The wine literally seems to stick in the mouth with handfuls of berries, some tartness and black pepper, and a little gumminess. Alas, it lacks structure and reveals barely any tannins on finish, which itself is short and mild.

Deep inky purple. Clean aromas of dark fruit and hints of creosote and earth. Dry palate of black and re fruit with a medium bodied mouth-feel and medium finish with only light tannins. Internationally styled Ribera lacking the structure of more traditionally crafted offerings but enjoyable nonetheless
