($75) Deep violet. Explosively perfumed aromas of dark fruits, flowers and smoky mineral scents. Powerful and impressively concentrated, with vivid blackberry and black raspberry flavors, subtle tannins and a building tangy quality on the long, clinging, spicy finish. This displays wonderful sap. Winemaker Turley described this vineyard as |a warm spot in a cool area.| (JR)

A bold, ripe, intense and fleshy style, built around generous plum, wild berry and blackberry fruit that's rich and fleshy. Shows its peppery side slowly, then ends with a long, distinct finish.
