International Wine Cellar | Rating: 96($250; 15.5%; from the exact same blend as the |regular| Kayli Morgan but aged nearly a year longer; this was bottled in December of 2008) Good saturated red-ruby. Superripe, decadent aromas of currant, graphite, mocha and marzipan; there's something here that reminded me of a great old Rioja. Lush and sweet but with superb energy keeping the wine magically fresh. Bigger than the Precious and longer and brighter on the finish. This has a three-dimensional texture. Owner Woodbridge told me this late-bottled wine is his attempt to see what his Kayli Morgan cabernet will taste like after 20 years in the bottle.Author: Stephen TanzerIssue: May/June 2009
Wine Advocate | Rating: 99The very limited cuvee, the 2005 Deep Time is another amazingly well-balanced, incredibly pure, rich, profound Cabernet Sauvignon that is like a concentrated essence of Cabernet. Despite the much longer sojourn in new oak casks, the wine seems to show less wood than its two peers. Deep, rich, and full-bodied, with wonderful silky tannins and a magnificent mouthfeel, this is another killer effort from Jayson Woodbridge. Bravo!Drink Dates: 2015-2040Author: Robert Parker
