Medium red-ruby color. Black cherry and licorice on the nose, with an herbal nuance. Silky, dense and fine-grained, with black fruit flavors lifted by a violet note. Finishes with building, dusty, rather sweet tannins and lovely persistence. Still a bit tight but this has style.

Relatively light, slightly raw nose. The acidity stands out. Quite stringy. One of the few wines where there didn't seem to be quite enough fruit weight.

This is a sinewy red, with dense tannins shoring up its cherry and earth notes. A bit tough and square now, but shows concentration as well as purity at its core.

This too is airy and quite cool with a pretty mix of red, blue and violet-infused aromas nuanced with notes of stone and underbrush that complement the sweet, refined and pure middle weight flavors that possess really lovely mid-palate fat that completely buffers the firm, persistent and elegant finish. I like the subtle spiciness and the length here is seriously impressive. Terrific and recommended.
